Monday-Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm
Our Day Center provides a safe and encouraging environment for people who are experiencing homelessness to escape the elements, access resources, and build community. We offer hot coffee and tea, and serve a afternoon snack daily at 3pm.
During a clients first visit, they will be asked to complete a new client intake with a staff member; this usually takes 5-10 minutes.

Hygiene Services– Free limited shower and laundry services, as well as hygiene products. Sign up for these services occurs daily on a first come, first served basis.
Quiet Room: This space has reclining lounge chairs and offers a relaxing space to read or take a nap.
Computer Access: Clients have access to computers and internet.
Public Health: We offer HIV/AIDS & Hepatitis screening. CRP and other preventative trainings are hosted at the Day Center each month.
Chemical Dependency Treatment: SIC offers Alcoholics Anonymous on Wednesdays at 2pm and Narcotics Anonymous on Thursdays at 7 pm. Both groups are open to anyone. We also offer referrals to other cessation programs in the area.
Mail Services: We provide a safe and secure place to receive mail. Complete an intake to begin this service. Photo ID is required for mail pick-up.
SIC Expectations of Day Center Clients:
- We are a drugs and alcohol-free facility.
- We are a weapons-free facility.
- Show respect to staff and other clients. No threatening or aggressive behavior will be tolerated.
- Be responsible for your own possessions and do not litter or leave unattended items on SIC property.
